MONARCHY- THE BEST FORM OF GOVERNMENT?

Regardless of which country you live in,you have experienced one or more of the above-mentioned forms of governments.

You might have voted for one or more of political parties that fall under these types of governments.

After the dust has settled on perhaps the most crucial election in the history of the United States of America- it might be appropriate to pose for a while and ask:

WHICH IS THE BEST FORM OF GOVERNMENT? — Regardless of which country you reside in?

• The fall of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which gave birth to modern day Russia, renders it worthless to discuss Communism.
• So does the change of the Chinese form of Communism which has reformed China in a few scores of years from a poor,peasant-based country to the prosperous economic and industrial powerhouse it is today, catapulting China to it’s current position as the world’s second biggest economy!
• From time immemorial, human beings have experimented with different types of governments, often with catastrophic consequences such as the First and the Second World Wars!
• Colonialism?
• The Scramble for Africa?
• “Liberation” of previously colonized people?

The list is endless as far as opportunities to experiment with the ideal form of government are concerned.

WHICH IS THE BEST FORM OF GOVERNMENT?

By that I mean a government that, by and large, takes good care of it’s citizens, by providing :

• Opportunities for self improvement.
• Good Health Care.
• Good Housing, Education.
• Employment opportunities.
• Basic Freedoms.
• General Prosperity etc.

Some governments have achieved higher marks as far as taking good care of their citizens is concerned, as compared to others, resulting in general prosperity for a large percentage of their citizens.

Some governments have HORRENDOUS legacies characterized by:

• High rates of illiteracy
• High unemployment
• Economic collapse
• Poor health services resulting in low life expectancy.

In the so-called ‘Developed Nations’, that ‘development’ has often been achieved as a consequence of high levels of air, land and sea pollution!

Is that real, lasting development?

• The scourge of TERRORISM has affected almost the entire world, directly or indirectly.
• Thousands of people have died or maimed over the years, while many more live in fear as a result of terrorism.

WHICH IS THE BEST FORM OF GOVERNMENT?

Do we, as human beings throughout the history of the human race have an answer to that question?

Or have we dismally failed to establish a government that is indeed FOR THE PEOPLE!

I BELIEVE A THEOCRACY IS THE BEST FORM OF GOVERNMENT! THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE FORM OF GOVERNMENT TO ALL OTHERS!

What is a Theocracy?

• “It is a form of government by immediate divine guidance or by officials regarded as divinely guided”- Penguin Family Dictionary.
• IN OTHER WORDS, A THEOCRACY IS A GOVERNMENT BY GOD AND BY OFFICIALS GUIDED BY GOD!
• It is a Spiritual form of Government, not one based on laws created by human beings, but laws created by God!
• A Government based on the LAWS OF THE HOLY BIBLE!

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning” John 1 verse 1–2 (New International Version Bible).

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We’ve seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” John 1 verse 14. This is a reference to Jesus Christ.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first earth had passed away….” Revelation 21 verse 1.

“Now the dwelling of God is with men,and He will live with them. They will be His people and God Himself will be with them and be their God.”

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes”

“There will be no more death or mourning, or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away” verse 3.

A Theocracy is a real form of Government by God, ruling on earth, in love over human beings, who have failed dismally to rule themselves!

God will literally live on a “New earth” with us human beings as our just, loving Ruler, for ever and ever!
